Jared Carbajal is a formidable, Saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, Performer, Composer and Band leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born into a family in the arts, Jared's musical career began at an early age. By the age of sixteen, Jared was already performing in local venues throughout the Bay Area. With Jared's ability to play genres such as Pop, R&B, Latin, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, he went on to form his career and develop a talent and reputation as a skilled and versatile saxophonist.

Over the past seven years Jared has received his Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies Saxophone Performance from San Diego State University and had the privilege to tour the United States and Europe. In Addition, he has also been blessed to share the stage with World renowned artists such as Gordon Goodwin, Wayne Bergeron, Jon Faddis, Ernie Watts, Jeff Hamilton, Chris Potter, Kristen Korb, Huey Dunbar, and more! 

As a leader of The (408) Collective band he arranged and co-produced the songs “Hit the Ground” and “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.” Jared has been featured in many Hollywood commercials and performed live on TV shows such as ABC’s “Schooled.” 

Jared is currently dividing his time teaching, performing, touring as well as doing local performances. He is currently a member of, The (408) Collective, Foreverland (Michael Jackson Tribute), The Francis Experience, Soucano, Funkranomicron, The Alternative Symphony and The Bay Blue Notes. Having spent over 8 seasons performing for amusement parks such as California’s Great America, Seaworld, Disnelyland and Professional sports teams such as the Golden State warriors and the SF Giants, Jared is seen to be a powerhouse saxophonist everywhere he performs.
