Ms. Jia (Joanna)  is passionate about teaching piano and introducing young students to music. She started playing piano at the age of 6 and was admitted to South China Normal University’s International Program when she was 18. In 2016, she obtained her B.A. in Music from Cal State East Bay, and continued to earn an M.A. in Music with an emphasis in piano performance at the same institution. Her love for music and the art of teaching piano fundamentals creates a solid and positive experience for each student. Ms. Joanna also speaks Chinese, and offers piano lessons from beginner to advanced levels. She has prepared students for numerous recitals as well as comprehensive curricula exams, including MTAC’s Certificate of Merit and ABRSM.
